The Southern Fire Risk Assessment System, SFRAS, is an ArcGIS software application that provides capabilities for viewing and analyzing the Published Results data derived in the SWRA project. SFRAS licenses are available to all SWRA project participants at no cost.

SFRAS provides custom mapping and reporting tools as well as analysis tools for running the wildfire risk models, analyzing the impacts on areas of concern and communities, and evaluating different mitigation options such as fuel treatments.

The latest version, SFRAS 9.3, operates on the ArcGIS 9.3 Desktop platform on all ESRI supported Windows operating systems. This includes XP, Vista and Windows 7.
